Day1:Cusco-Mollepata-Soraypampa 7 h Walk
Pick up at your hotel around 5AM and drive to Mollepata. more than 5 persons private bus, less than 5 persons local bus, about 3h drive Breakfast in Mollepata in a local restaurant .There at 2800 Mt we start walking up, to Cruz pata, about 3 h a little up, here we take our lunch, after lunch we continue for about 4h steep up to Soraypampa community, were we make our first campsite/dinner
Day 2: Soraypampa – Huayracpampa –Chaullay 8 h walk
Breakfast around 6.30 AM ,at 7.30 h .Physically a tough day, we start for the strong climb to the pass 4 h climbing/walking up to 4700 Mt altitude .Here we have stunning views over the Salkantay mountain range .We lunch in Huayracpampa ,around 3600 Mt After lunch we continue to 2900 Mt or Colpabamba 3300 Mt /depending on the condition of the groupabout 4h to the campsite Dinner and camp .

Day 3: Ccolpapampa–Hot spring-Playa- Santa teresa 6 h walk Wake up and breakfast at 7AM. Today an "easy" walk ,most of the time walking down ,you see the different vegetation from forest to coca fields ,3 h walking down Lunch in Playa. From here we take an open truck for 45 min to Santa Teresa where we take dinner and we have our campsite, there is also a hot spring.
Day 4 : Santa teresa –Oroya- Hydro electrico-Aqua calientes 1 a 2 h walk
Breakfast 7 AM ,relax day, around 2 h walk to the Hydro electric or we take where we lunch. Than you have the choice in walking for about 3 h to Aguas Calientes or taking the train.
You arrive around 17 h in Aqua Calientes, here we overnight in a hostal. Dinner in Aguas Calientes .
Day 5: Aqua calientes –Machu picchu –Cusco
Early in the morning, transfer to the train station in Cusco or Ollantaytambo ,to take the train to Machu Picchu and the village of Aguas Calientes. Here a bus awaits you, to take you to the actual site of the “Lost City of the Incas.”
Your bilingual guide will take you throughout the vast ruins. Machu Picchu is the best known of the Inca ruins, as it is recognized worldwide, yet it is not mentioned in any of the writings of the Spanish Conquistadors. It is believed to have been constructed around the mid-15th century and was “rediscovered” by American historian Hiram Bingham in 1911. The guided tour of this fascinating place is an awe-inspiring experience. Visit the Main Square, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Circular Towers, the Sacred Sun Dial and Burial Grounds. After the explanation (about 2 hour ) you still have some free time to wonder around by your self . You can walk to Inti Punko, the “SUN GATE” or to the mountain behind Machu Picchu “ Huayna Picchu “, in a 45 min climb. Be careful this have also new rules ,only 400 tourist a day can climb this. you only can clim iff you reserved and get a permit far in advance , From here you have stunning views over the whole complex !In the afternoon you take the bus back down to Aqua Calientes to take the train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo , from where we transfer you back to your hotel after a fantastic day .
