Introduction

For those who like to avoid the crowdie routes like the Inca trail we have add a more rustic tour; the 3 days trekking in the sacred valley. This less-known hike combines amazing mountain scenery, saltpans . You meet local people and pass by small villages and is not so hard .

First day : Cusco/ Chinchero

* We wil take the local bus to tambo machay for about 15 Min. From here we start walking to Chinchero thru the Sacred valley about 6 to 7 h slowly up and dow

* lunchbox in the sacred valley

* along the road you find manny lagoons

* diner in our hotel in chincero

* Nice hostal in chinchero made of Mud bricks Casa de Baro with private bathroom

Second day: Chinchero /Maras/Ollantaytambo /Aqua calientes

* breakfast

* We take local transport to maras

* We visit Moray archeological site

* From Moray we walk thru beautiful nature to the saltpans in maras

* lunchbox in maras

* walk down to Main road and walk to ollantaytambo about 2 to 4 h or local transport

* diner in ollantaytambo or aquas cal

* at around 18.45 H train to aqua calientes

* sleep in hostal in aqua calientes

Third day: Aqua Calientes Machupicchu-Cusco

After an early breakfast we will take one of the first buses to visit the Historical Sanctuary of Machupicchu, where we will have a guided visit for about 02:00 hrs, later we have some free time. In the afternoon we will take the bus back to Aqua Calientes from where we take the train to return to
