Day 1: Lima
Arrive at Lima airport, someone from Peru planet pick you up from the airport and bring you to your first hotel in Lima or Miraflores.

Day 2: Lima
First day free in Lima to visit Museo National de Arqueologia, in pueblo libre, the best museum in Peru, also the old centre is worth a visit, in the afternoon you can visit Colonial Barranco and walk at the seafront in Miraflores .

Day 3: Trujillo
Today you will take the bus on the Pan-American highway to Trujillo for about 9 h, from there you take a taxi to Huanchaco, this is a relax beach town, free time to wonder around.

Day 4: Trujillo
This morning you will visit the biggest adobe city in the world “CHAN CHAN “,the capital of the Chimú empire. It is a huge urban complex made of a kind of mud called adobe. It’s located in Trujillo (north of Peru) and was built by the 13th century, after this you can continue to the ruins of“ARCO IRIS”, and the pyramid of “HUACA DE SOL y LUNA” , here they still do every day new discoveries/hotel Huanchaco or Trujillo.

Day 5 : Chiclao
This morning you take a taxi to Trujillo, and from here the bus for about 3,5 h to

If your interest in the Moche culture is bigger than this , you can extend your stay in Chiclao and visit the next day , the tombs of the Lord of Sipan or the beautiful museum of Sican its also possible to extend and go to Chachapoyas. This is with a night bus. Here you can visit the amazing fortress of “Kuelap”,or on the way to Trujillo you can stop in Cajamarca . |
Day 7: Paracas or Lima
This morning you take a flight to Lima, transfer to your hotel in Lima /Miraflores, enjoy and relax on the seafront of the shopping center of Largo Mar .

Day 9 : Nasca
This morning you walk to the harbour to do the Ballestas island, speedboat tour.
After the tour you take the bus or private transport for about 4 h to Nasca. In the afternoon you visit Chauchilla cemetery with its mummy’s or do this next day. Hostal with swimming pool in Nasca

Day 10: Nasca

Day 11+ 12:Arequipa
Early in the morning you arrive in Arequipa , a day free to visit this beautiful city, visit the star of Arequipa “The MUMMY JUANITA “ or the” Santa Catalina monastery”, in the evening you can try in one of the many restaurants the local “CUY” or marmot,1 night hotel.

Day 13 : Arequipa
Day free in Arequipa to relax or drink a cup of coffee on one of the nice balconies on the plaza de armas,or you can go rafting on Chili river, a great adventure !
This is the best way to get used to the altitude .Hotel Arequipa .

Day12: Colca Canyon
Start of the 2 days Colca canyon tour, this is in a International group, many photo stops to see this beautiful canyon with his many vicunias/Lamas /volcano’s. In the afternoon you can swim in the hot spring of la Caleta and in the evening its possible to take a meal with folkloristic dances. 1 night in the small village of Chivay.

Day 20: Aqua cal
This morning you take the train to Aqua Calientes , this is the village close to Machu Picchu, also much warmer than Cusco, it’s the border of the jungle, the active persons can climb already the mountain Pastorouri to have the first views over Machu Picchu or walk to the waterfall Mandor in the jungle, or enjoy the new hot spring baths.

Day 21 : Machu Picchu
This morning you go very early to Machu Picchu by bus, this to see the sunrise over these amazing ruins, here you go with an English speaking guide, in the afternoon you will take the train back to Cusco /hotel in Cusco .

This program is only an example; we can make programs to all your needs!!!
It’s also possible to do this tour reverse, start first with south Peru, after that you start on the way to the North and finish your holiday in the North, on one of the beaches.

This tour you can use as a base, you can add the 2 or 4 days Inca trail or extend this tour wit a visit to the jungle in Manu or Puerto Maldonado .
Remember that the most other travel agencies offer the tours without excursions, there you have to pay extra for the excursions, and with Peru planet the most of the excursions written in the program are included!!!

Cancellation
Cancellations till 56 days before departure cost 15% of the total amount. Cancellation between 56 and 42 days before departure cost 30% of the total amount , from 42 to 28 days before departure 50%, from 28 to 14 days before departure 75% and from 14 to 7 days before departure 90%. If you cancel 7 days or less before departure, you have to pay the total amount .Its better to take an insurgency for cancellation as well!.
