Day 1:Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (Wiñaywayna-Aqua calientes )
We pick you up at your hotel in Cusco early in the morning and then take you by bus or taxi to the train station in Cusco ,or the railway station in Ollantaytambo where we will take the train to km 104.This is the beginning of the trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We start the walk to the second most important pass on the Inca Trail Wiñaywayna, at 2850 m. On the way we have a guided tour. After having our lunchbox we continue our trek to Wiñaywayna, visiting this beautiful Inca citadel. From here we start our walk to Machu picchu where we have the first vieuw thru the sungate over this beautifull ruin. At this time of the day there are almost no tourist. From Machu Picchu we wil take the bus down to the village of Aqua Calientes for about 15 minutes.
Here we sleep in a local guesthouse,clean but basic.In Aqua Calientes we take our diner in one of the many restaurants along the railway .This day you walk around 6 to 7 h

Day 2: Visit Machu Picchu
We take our breakfast, very early in the morning. Than we start our last day early,by taking one of the first buses going up to the entrée of the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. the“Lost City of the Incas.” We will be one of the first visitors this day.Your bilingual guide will take you throughout the vast ruins for about 2h. After this you have some free time to wander around yourself Machu Picchu is the best known of the Inca ruins, as it is recognized worldwide yet it is not mentioned in any of the writings of the Spanish Conquistadors. It is believed to have been constructed around the mid-15th century and was “rediscovered” by American historian Hiram Bingham in 1911. The guided tour of this fascinating place is an inspiring experience. Visit the Main Square, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Circular Towers, the Sacred Sun Dial and Burial Grounds. After the excursion you can walk to Inti Punko, the “SUN GATE” to take the famous picture or to the mountain behind Machu Picchu “ Huayna Picchu “, in 45 min ,from here you have stunning views over the whole complex ! Or you climb Huayna Picchu/ be careful,from 2005 there is a new rule that there are only 400 persons a day allowed and the gate close at 12 h. its not possible to reserve these tickets!
After your free time you can walk down or drive down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes for a late lunch or a dip in the hot springs (not included). In the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo and arrive in cusco around 2100h.

* 40 % deposit at western union to Peru ,the rest you pay at our office in Cusco before the start of the trek

NOTE : if after reservation you have to change your passport, or if it is stolen, please bring the old one with you or at least a copy.INC is verry strikt ! If the pasportnr at the permit is not the same, they don,t let you start the incatrail.Please inform us in advance if you dont have a copy of the old one , than INC and peruplanet charge 25 usd administration cost to change this.

This reservation is fixed and unchangeable! Please control the name and passport number!

The travellers above indicated is responsible for a valid passport (minima 2 month valid after visit Peru), Medicines and injections, valid Student card ,and have to bring the Student card and passport with the number as booked !The traveller is responsible and obligated to have an good travel insurance.

Please bring the official document (like passport) with the original nr that you reserved with you on the trail Their are many controls on the trail, while the permit is on this passport number .If it happens that you have are need a new passport, please bring a color copy of the old passport with you that have the number you booked on ,inform Peruplanet minima 2 days before departure and there is a charge of 25 usd from the INC officials .

After reservation the Inca trail its impossible to change date of departure, Name or Passport number ,there is no refund of permit!

The trekking is in an international group (between 4 and 16 persons in the group), any problem as strike, late departure are nor the responsibility of Peruplanet ,it is an adventures trek

If a notification of cancellation is received from the moment of reservation till 8 days prior to the date of the beginning of the Trek, we charge cancelation fee for trekking permit +porter + Igv for the 4 days Inca trail is 205 Usd for the 2 days Inca trail 115 usd , of the total cost corresponding to administrative and banking fees.

No refund will be made if the notification of cancellation is received 8 or less days before the beginning of the Trek, or in the case of a no-show by passenger(s) or for cancellations made during the trip itself.

The client have to indicate us his hotel to pick up the day of departure at least 3 day in advance.to coordinate the briefing and pay the balans in Cash USD at our office
