For those who like to avoid the crowdie routes we have added a more rustic tour; the 3 trekking. In this less-known hike you will find 1 of the last discovered Graff tombs. Its 2 days by horse and 1 day trekking .This is an adventure trip , and for many people the trip of a lifetime ! Its for people who can stand some hard adventure , but you get something unforgettable in return !

FIRST DAY: Leymabamba – Lodge

Depart between 7 and 8 Am in the morning by car or horse for 30 minutes. Than we start our tour. We put the luggage and food on the horses and start our adventure. We climb from 2230 mt to 3800 mt ,after that we go down till  3500 mt where we arrive at bosque de piedras where we take our lunch . This part takes about  5 h by horse . After lunch we go down till 2600 mt where we have the first amazing view of the Laguna de los condores .We arrive at our basic lodge between 5 and 6 PM . Here we take our warm evening meal .In the lodge we sleep in 4 persons room .The lodge is situated in the cloud forest .Along the way we meet many species of birds. On this tour you real feel the pure nature!

SECOND DAY : Lodge –Tombs

After a good breakfast we start around  8 AM at our trekking by foot . The route is going up and down for 3 h, sometimes you have to climb a ladder to have a view of the toms. After this visit of the tombs where they find more than 200 mummies, we will return back toward our lodge, an other 3 h walk .

THIRD DAY : Lodge – Leymabamba

This morning after breakfast we return by horse back to Leymabamba. The return is much easier .In the afternoon we arrive back at Leymabamba after this amazing adventure .
