We are official Licensed operators of the Inca trail !
New : Ask our operator online iff there are permits left for the incatrail. Like this you now it direct!
There are new regulations from the Peruvian government on the trail, as an effort to protect its fragile eco-structure from over-use. These proposals have been aimed to reduce the numbers of trekkers on the trail. Now there are only 500 persons allowed on the trail, in these 500 persons are all the guides, porters, cooks, for the 4 and 2 days trail included. That’s why we need your reservation in high season at least 60 TO 90 days in advance and in high season even faster ! We recommend that you make a reservation for the Inca Trail as far in advance as possible. In the low season (Oct-March) we advise making a reservation 6 weeks in advance. For the months of May and September we recommend making a reservation 12 weeks in advance.Lares and Salkantay With Machu picchu is always possible. If you don't make a reservation and pay your trek deposit in advance, we won't be able to buy your trek permits. Once we have confirmed your reservation and bought your permits then it’s no longer possible to change the date of trek departure and it’s forbidden to change the name or passport number on the permit. In high season there is sometimes a waiting list for more than3 MONTHS!
It’s being impossible for visitors to purchase last minute spaces on the Inca Trail upon arrival (at least legitimately anyway). However, if you turn up in Cusco in the low season (November to April) you maybe still find space available 5-7 days prior to the trek departure date, if you take the risk and have the time to wait, but these rules are changing constantly! For the Moment Incatrail persons are not alowed to climb Wayna Picchu mountain.

Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Wayllabamba 4 h
We will pick you up from your hotels around 05:30 am , afterwards we will drive towards Ollantaytambo town (2hours) ,here you can have optional breakfast, buy some coca leaves and we recommend to buy a pair of wooden walking sticks (10 soles) after that we will continue our bus trip now to Piskacucho (2650 m.a.s.l.) a community located on the kilometer 82 of the Cusco –Machupicchu railroad . At this point all hikers must show their original passport in order to enter to the Inka trail towards Machupicchu. From this point we will hike 12 km.
We cross the bridge and walk along the left shore of the Urubamba River, following the trail along a flat terrain, we reach the little community of Miskay (2800 m.a.s.l.), where we make a little break, and then continue walking for a steep path that will lead us to a high plateau, from where, all hikers will be rewarded with an amazing view of an Inca Building called Patallacta (2700 m.a.s.l.). After the explanation of our tour guide, we carry on along a gorgeous valley; We will gradually climb up for about 2 hours, till we reach a nice natural spot where our cook and porters await for us to have lunch. Later on, we will walk up hill for about 2 hours till we reach our first campsite at Wayllabamba (3000 m.a.s.l.). At this point we will be starting the climbing to the highest and most famous mountain pass, the Abra Warmihuañusca (Dead Woman’s Pass 4200 m.a.s.l.). It will take about 2 hours to get to the top; we recommend just doing it slowly, without pushing yourself too much. Usually our tour guide will be with us till the end, so even if you got delayed, don’t worry; the group will wait for everyone at the top of the Pass. Try to carry some chocolates, candies and coca leaves on your day backpack, this will help to keep your sugar level high, and also help toward off altitude sickness.
