Day 1: Cusco - Socma- perolniyoc
Pick up time from the hotel around 07:30 am, we leave from Cusco by bus toward to Maras Moray, from this point we are going to start the first part of our trail, we appreciate theMoray arqueological site and its salt mines, after an explanation of these places we continue walking down till the Urubamba river, nearby to this river we will have lunch after that we continue and take a private bus for 1 hourthrough the Huarocondo Canyon till Socma town ( 2900 ml), from this place we start our second part of the trail, we walk for one hour and on the way we appreciate the beautiful water fall called PEROLNIYOC, walking for one hour morewe reach the arqueological site ( Inca ruins) of PEROLNIYOC where we are going to camp and have a dinner.
Day 2: Peroniyoc- Pass of Chancachucu- q’eunacancha -choquetarpo - cachicata
After Breakfast, we visit the arqueological site of Perolniyoc (Inca ruins) then it start the third part of our trail, it seems be more interesting than the first one, we climb up for 3 hours through the Corimarca village and beautiful landscapes till reach the first pass Chancachucu (4500 asl), This trail show us the most beautiful panoramic of the snow range, also give us the opportunity to see how the villagers work their lands and how they care their animals. We continue the fascinating trail for around 2 or 3 hours till reach the highest mountain in our entire trek called Queunacancha (4800 m), where we stop here to have lunch. After Lunch, we start the fourth part of the trail going to Choquetarpo Inca ruins, then we follow a way walking down where we will find the Cachicata Inca quarries, natural place of huge blocks of stone (Pink diorite), this kind of stone were used for the Inca peoplein many construction such as Ollantaytambo fortress. Cachicata will be our camp site and we have dinner.
Day 3: Cachicata-Aguas calientes
After breakfast, we start the next part of our trail, walking down around 6 kilometers till Ollantaytambo town, in this town we will visit the arqueological site (Inca fortress) and also the town itself, and after an explanation you have a free time to explore by your own these places.In the afternoon, after lunch we take the train to Aguas Calientes, we spent one night in a hotel and we have a dinner in a touristic restaurant.You also can go to the hot springs of Aquas calientes.
Day 4: Aguas calientes- Machupicchu -Cusco
Breakfast, very early around 5 AM in the morning. We take the first bus to Machu Picchu around 5.45 AM. We enter Machu Picchu and have a guided tour of the complex for around 2,5 hours. After this you have some free time to wander around yourself. Walk to Inti Punko, the “Sun Gate” or to the mountain behind Machu Picchu “Waynapicchu “, in 45 Min, from here you have stunning views over the whole complex, but be careful there is a new rule that only 400 people a day are allowed. you need to get a permit stamp early at the entree gate of Machu Picchu. If the permits are gone you can climb to Machu Picchu mountain with even better vieuws. For this you dont need any permission. After your free time you can walk down or drive down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, for a late lunch (not included). In the afternoon we take the train back to Poroy or Ollantaytambo, transfer and arrive late at yout hotel in cusco !
