Introduction

For those who like to avoid the crowdie routes like the Inca trail we have add a more rustic tour; the 3 or 4  days trekking in the Lares Valley. This less-known hike combines amazing mountain scenery, lakes and lamas and authentic textile Quechua communities. You meet local people and pass by small villages. Up in the village of LARES, where you will enjoy its fabulous hot springs.


 


First day: Cusco- Thermal Baths De Lares - Huaca Huasi (3400 mt) First day: Cusco- Thermal Baths De Lares - Huaca Huasi (3400 mt)

Depart early in the morning by bus; till the town of Calca from where we will step in a small car that bring us to Lares, in where  we visit the thermal baths of  Lares and take our lunch. Later we start our walk until HUACA WASI (3400msnm), where we find our first campsite



Second day: Huaca Huasi – Abra Ipsay –PataCancha Second day: Huaca Huasi – Abra Ipsay –PataCancha

After a good breakfast we will start our trek for about 04 hrs, the ascent will be a difficult one, the highest part is 4400 m. Some lower we take our lunch, throughout this passage we will be able to observe communities that maintain their customs, as well as its typical clothes.In the evening we will arrive at the community of Patacancha (3800msnm). Here we will spend the night. Today we walk in total around  07hours  



Third day: Patacancha - Willoq - Pumamarca – Ollantaytambo Third day: Patacancha - Willoq - Pumamarca – Ollantaytambo

Early in the morning after our breakfast we will start our descend through the native communities of the sacred valley as there are Willoq(3600msnm), Pumamarca(3400msnm) after visiting these communities we will arrive at Ollantaytambo where we will take the train to Aqua calientes where we sleep in a hostal



Fourth day: Aqua Calientes Machupicchu-Cusco Fourth day: Aqua Calientes Machupicchu-Cusco

After an early breakfast we will take one of the first buses to visit the Historical Sanctuary of Machupicchu, where we will have a guided visit for about 02:00 hrs., later we have some free time. In the afternoon we will take the bus back to Aqua Calientes from where we take the train to return to Cusco .Arriving at 20:30 p.m.

  7. 30 % deposit at western union to Peru, the rest you pay at our office in Cusco
