uros + Taquile Full day in Puno - Tours - Peru Planet, South American Travel Agency

Early in the morning,transfer from the hotel to the port to start our boat trip to the floating reed islands of Uros, after a trip of 30 minutes we arrive at the islands where we will visit this beautiful island for about 1 hour. The guide will explain the life of those people. You can do a ride in one of the reed boats.

After the visit we will go towards the island of Taquile what wil take about 2:30 hours. Ones we arrive we will climb in 1 h to the main squaire of the island. Along the climb we have beautifull vieuws of the lake and surroundings. On a clear day you can see Bolivia. Close to the main squaire we take our lunch, while the guide explaine anout the local costums. Here the boys are knitting. After the lunch we return back to our boat after decending manny stairs. In the afternoon we will return to Puno, arriving around 5:30pm
