Day 1: Downhill mountainbike

WeŽll pick our passengers up at 7:30 a.m. (public bus), 8:00 (private bus), to set off to the Málaga Mountain Pass or Alfamayo, where weŽll start our downhill bike ride. Along the way, weŽll have a chance to observe the whole of the Urubamba River Canyon, as well as the mountainsŽ majesty and feel the changes in the climate and vegetation. Upon arrival in Amaybamba, weŽll have a short rest, enjoying our box lunch and visiting the areaŽs archaeological sites. Afterwards, weŽll proceed downhill, to get to Santa María where weŽll spend the night in a basic hostal

Day 2: Trekking

After having breakfast, weŽll start the trek along an ancient Inca trail leading us to Quellomayo. On that part of the tour, weŽll have the opportunity to observe a great quantity of fruit tree plantations and local people. Afterwards, weŽll cross the Urubamba River, to get to the hot water springs and after a repairing bath, weŽll go on to the town of Santa Teresa, where weŽll spend the night at a basic hostal.
This day we have to carry our backpack! It,s about 8 h walking.


Day 3: Trekking

At 8:00 a.m, weŽll go on walking along the Vilcanota River bank, till we arrive at the hydroelectric plant, where weŽll enjoy our lunch. Then weŽll proceed with our trek along the railroad, to get to the village of Aguas Calientes, where weŽll spend the night at a hostel.If you like, you can visit the hot springs of Aqua calientes.
 
Today its about 5 h walk and you have to carry your backpack.


Day 4: Machu Picchu

We take our breakfast, very early in the morning. Than we start our last day by climbing up to the entrée of the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. the“Lost City of the Incas.” We will be one of the first visitors this day. Your bilingual guide will take you throughout the vast ruins for about 2h. After this you have some free time to wander around yourself Machu Picchu is the best known of the Inca ruins, as it is recognized worldwide yet it is not mentioned in any of the writings of the Spanish Conquistadors. It is believed to have been constructed around the mid-15th century and was “rediscovered” by American historian Hiram Bingham in 1911. The guided tour of this fascinating place is an inspiring experience. Visit the Main Square, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Circular Towers, the Sacred Sun Dial and Burial Grounds. After the excursion you can walk to Inti Punko, the “SUN GATE” to take the famous picture or to the mountain behind Machu Picchu “ Huayna Picchu “, in 45 min ,from here you have stunning views over the whole complex !But be careful,from 2005 there is a new rule that there are only 400 persons a day allowed and the gate close at 12 h. We can not guaranty this visit because its not possible to reserve tickets.After your free time you can walk down to the town of Aguas Calientes for a late lunch or a dip in the hot springs (not included). In the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo and arrive in cusco around 2100h.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY :

  • If a notification of cancellation is received  from the moment of reservation till 8 days  prior to the date of the beginning of the Trek, we charge cancelation fee for the 4 days Inca jungle is 70 Usd  a person for of the total cost corresponding to administrative and banking fees.
  • No refund will be made if the notification of cancellation is received 8 or less days before the beginning of the Trek, or in the case of a no-show by passenger(s) or for cancellations made during the trip itself.
Nota : This 4 days is the cheapest way to do trekking and bike with visit at machu picchu,this means that the accomodation is basic and you wil eat in local restaurants, along the way we get luch boxes. keep in mind,the quality of the bikes is not the same as in western world.
