Our trip to Machupicch goes over incatrails thru the jungle, in this tour the clients have a variation of mountain biking and trekking thru a beautiful nature surrounded with snowy mountain peaks. Its 1 day mountainbike and 2 days trekking .The last day you also will visit Machu Picchu !
  • This Trip is designed for tourists who are used to ride mountain BIKE.
  • This is an adventure trip with basic overnights !


Day 1: Cusco – Malaga – Sta Maria

WeŽll pick our passengers up at 7:30 a.m. (public bus), 8:00 (private bus), to set off to the Málaga Mountain Pass or Alfamayo, where weŽll start our downhill bike ride. Along the way, weŽll have a chance to observe the whole of the Urubamba River Canyon, as well as the mountainsŽ majesty and feel the changes in the climate and vegetation. Upon arrival in Amaybamba, weŽll have a short rest, enjoying our box lunch and visiting the areaŽs archaeological sites. Afterwards, weŽll proceed downhill, to get to Santa María where weŽll spend the night.

DURATION: About 5 hours.

Dag 2 Santa maria -Santa teresa

After having had breakfast, weŽll start the trek along an ancient Incan trail leading us to Quellomayo. On that part of the tour, weŽll have the opportunity to observe a great quantity of fruit trees plantations and local people. Afterwards, weŽll cross the Urubamba River by means of an “oroya” (Basket suspended on a cable, to cross the river into), to get to the hot water springs cocalmayo( 10 sol entree)and after a repairing bath, weŽll go on to the town of Santa Teresa, where weŽll spend the night at a basic inn


Day 3 Sta Teresa -Hidroelectrica-Aquas calientes

At 8:00 a.m., weŽll go on walking along the Vilcanota River bank, arriving at the hydroelectric plant, where weŽll enjoy our lunch. Then, weŽll proceed with our trek, to get to the village of Aguas Calientes, where weŽll spend the night at a comfortable hostel.



Day 4 : Aqua Calientes Machupicchu-Cusco

Early in the morning, weŽll set off to go to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, to go on the guided visit of the archaeological center  for 2 h and then, return to Aguas Calientes, to board the train back to Ollantaytambo or Cusco
