From La Paz you can visit the Tiwanacu-culture .Or the highest ski post in the world at 5200 Mt with amazing views.Or you can do the unforgettable adventures mountain bike tour to Coroyco over the dead road. We recommend also a visit to Copacabane and the Titicaca lake. La Paz is also the base for an other adventure, the Jungle of Rurrenabaque. Here you can do the 3 to 6 days tour in the basic virgin jungle. You can swim with the pink dolphins in the river. La Paz is also the base for beautiful trekking from 2 to 5 days in the mountains.
Then you have the nice colonial city’s of Sucre at 2860 mt and Potosi, situated around 4000 mt. Potosi was ones the richest city of South America, because of it’s silver mines.
One of the highlights of Bolivia, are the salt lakes of Uyuni. This amazing site you can visit in a 1/2 or 3 days Jeep tour over the immense salt lakes with a visit at the colorful lagoons full of flamingo’s. It’s a basic but unforgettable tour!
